Acquisition of Capco Holdings Ltd

SIG are pleased to announce the acquisition of Capco Holdings Ltd (CHL).

CHL is a specialist multi-site distributor of ceilings and partitioning, insulation and roofing materials operating from 19 branches throughout the UK and Ireland, where it has established a strong reputation and market leading positions.

CHL will continue to trade as a separate business within SIG plc complementing our existing portfolio and strengthening our established distribution businesses in these markets.

We are also pleased to announce that George Appleton will take up the post of Managing Director of CHL with immediate effect, and he will report directly to C G Fotheringham, Managing Director of CPD.
