Appointment of Stewart Horne

SIG are delighted to announce the appointment of Stewart Horne, the current Deputy Managing Director, to the post of Managing Director of Sheffield Insulations Ltd. The appointment will take place from 1st September 2001. Stewart will succeed the present Managing Director, David Williams, who has been appointed Group Chief Executive with effect from 1st January 2002.

Stewart has worked hard and successfully in his time at Sheffield Insulations and Warrens and has a wealth of experience as a senior manager and director in a number of key roles. I am sure the SIL team will respond to his leadership, enthusiasm and commitment.
