The Children’s Hospital in Sheffield benefits from large donation from SIG

Entrepreneurial SIG graduates have managed to raise £5,000 for The Children’s Hospital Charity following a trio of fundraising events.

The graduates started to raise money through a sponsored 15 mile hike around the Three Dams in the Peak District collecting money as they walked.

The whole of SIG plc joined in the fundraising with many colleagues buying special charity Krispy Kreme doughnuts and purchasing raffle tickets for the chance to win prizes such as an hour's flying experience or a spa day.

With the £5,000 donated to The Children’s Hospital Charity’s Make it Better appeal, SIG plc will be sponsoring an “ante” room, or waiting room, in the new development of The Children’s Hospital, Sheffield. There will also be recognition of SIG plc as a contributor to the redevelopment in the entrance of The Children’s Hospital.
