The Group's core strategy is to continue the growth and development of SIG as a leading European specialist supplier to the building and construction industries, in order to create long term growth in Shareholder value. This includes, but is not limited to:
- operating efficiency improvements in core businesses;
- upgrading the Group's portfolio by prioritising invesment in high growth/profitable markets; and
- organic growth initiatives supported by selected acquisitions.
Each sector has individual growth drivers and each requires specialist infrastructure, skills and know-how. These requirements have enabled SIG to build businesses that are able to differentiate themselves from mainstream competitors by offering superior service, wide product range and expert advice.
