SIG is pleased to announce the acquisition of Penlaw & Company Ltd, one of the UK’s foremost supplier of building materials to contractors, builders and developers, into its UK business. Penlaw & Company Ltd, which will continue to trade under its existing brand, will leverage the SIG Distribution’s UK-wide supply network and extensive product range, enhancing the superior service offering to customers.
The Chief Executive of SIG plc, Steve Francis, commented; “I am delighted to welcome Penlaw & Company Ltd into SIG in what is a significant period for the business. First established in 1977, Penlaw & Company Ltd employs 130 staff and operates from 5 sites in the UK.
